CHANDIGARH: Members of TOI's Youth Brigade, formed as part of the I Lead India campaign to motivate youth to exercise their franchise, got 125 youngsters to pledge to cast vote on April 10. The signature campaign was conducted at the University Institute of Legal Studies, UIET and other departments.
The signature board with the slogan, "Baithe rehne ka time khatam" and "I Pledge to vote," inspired many students to come forward for the campaign.

Akshay Mahajan, a UILS student was influenced by the message. "Through this campaign, I can motivate my friends and batch-mates to do so too as every vote matters".
The campaign transformed an indifferent Shahbaz, a UILS student, into a responsible voter. "We decided to go for a movie on election day. But this campaign has enlightened us. We will cast our vote," he said.
